Pramod Achar named Shirley Blue Barton Professor of Mathematics

Pramod Achar Pramod Achar was named the Shirley Blue Barton Professor of Mathematics. Professor Achar joined the LSU Math Department in 2004. Previously, he was awarded the LSU Rainmaker Award (2009), the LSU Alumni Association Faculty Excellence Award (2016), the Carruth McGehee Award for Excellent Research in Mathematics by a Junior Faculty Member (2016), and the LSU College of Science Graduate Teaching Award (2017).

Jiuyi Zhu's research featured by ORED

Jiuyi Zhu  The research of Assistant Professor Jiuyi Zhu was featured by the LSU Office of Research & Economic Development (ORED). Jiuyi Zhu joined the department in 2016. Before coming to LSU, he was a J.J.Sylvester Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University. His research interests are in Partial Differential Equations.
