Seminars
There are several regularly scheduled seminars which cover topics in Geometry, Topology, Representation Theory, and Mathematical Physics. They include:
Geometry & Topology Seminar – This semianr meets on Wednesdays at 3:30 PM. It focuses on topics in low-dimensional topology, contact and symplectic geometry, algebraic topology, and geometric group theroy.
Informal Geometry & Topology Seminar – This seminar meets on Wednesdays at 1:30 PM. It is a less formal version of the Geometry & Topology Seminar, generally focused on building foundations and introducing audience members to cutting-edge tools and techniques. Speakers are generally graduate students.
Mathematical Physics and Representation Theory Seminar – This seminar meets on Mondays at 2:30 PM. It focuses broadly on topics in mathematical physics and representation theory.
Algebra & Number Theory Seminar - This seminar meets on Tuedays at 3:30 PM. It focuses on topics in algebraic geometry and number theory.
Harmonic Analysis Seminar – This seminar meets on Wednesdays at 3:30 PM. It focuses on topics in harmonic analysis and representation theory.
