Focused Research Communities

In the summers of 2026 and 2028, we will host research-training events at LSU aimed primarily at graduate students and early career researchers. These events, known as Focused Research Communities or FRCs, will begin on a Monday and conclude the Wednesday of the following week (for a total stay of 10 days). At the end of each FRC workshop, there will a conference tuned thematically to the mathematics explored in the workshop.
