Undergraduate students can submit a title/abstract for presentation at the conference. Groups of up to four students may submit a single title/abstract. We expect that most submissions will be approved for presentation of a poster. The organizing committee will choose some of the submissions to be presented both orally and as a poster. Five of those twelve will be chosen to receive $800 in travel support from the National Science Foundation.

To submit a title/abstract: All participants, including all members of a single submission, must complete (1) and (2) below.

  1. Register on the website for the SIAM annual TX-LA sectional meeting.
  2. Send the following to Prof. Stephen Shipman at shipman@lsu.edu:
    • Name
    • Affiliation
    • Research Advisor
    • Title of submission
    • Abstract of submission
    • Other students in your group
    • Food restrictions
