Students who wish to participate and who attend a
school that is not sending a sponsored group are welcome to
participate. For details how to register individually see
Individual Students
whose school is not sending a sponsored group.
The sponsors from a school are the adults who are responsible
for and in charge of the school's students.
We are requesting a $5 donation from each contestant.
The donation is not required if you register by Tuesday, March 10,
and do not wish to receive a T-shirt. Otherwise
the entries will be accepted until March 16 , 2013. Those
who register by March 10, send the T-shirt size, and make
a donation are guaranteed T-shirts.
Registration has two parts:
First a sponsor should print, complete and mail the Registration
Form (together with donations and T-shirt sizes
for those who wish to receive a T-shirt) to reach us by
March 10. (We must submit our T-shirt order to our local provider on Tuesday, March 11.)
Entries with donations without T-shirt guaranteed will
be accepted until March 16 , 2013.
The second part of registration is to submit the actual
names of the student participants via e-mail or fax. Please
submit the following lists:
- list of students in the Open Session
- list of students in the Algebra/Geometry Session
- number of teams in the Team Session and number of students
on each team
[If you have more than one team from your
school we assume the students know which team they are on.]
Please see Contest
Rules for information who can participate in each session.
Additions or subtractions from the lists
can be made on the morning of the competition. Please submit
the names that your students will use on their exams and in the form you would want them to appear on a certificate that may be produced.
Please e-mail the lists of students to
contest@math.lsu.edu,
or fax the lists to (225) 578-4276 by March 16.
On the morning of the competition, March 22nd, please arrive at 101 Tureaud Hall between 9:00 - 9:50
am, to be assigned a place in the 10 am session and for the
last minute updates.
If you have any questions, please contact Mark Davidson at contest@math.lsu.edu. |
